El Milagro Tortilla Chips
If you're like me you havn't been too impressed with 0mg sodium tortilla chips. Well let me tell you, these chips are delicious. They are super thin and I love them. Not sure why they taste so much better than the other brands I have tried but they are. I highly recommend these. They also pair great with the low sodium Tzatziki or the 0mg salsa I posted previously. The bag costs $4.69 @ Whole Foods which is on the higher side but there's only so much one can do I guess :-) Note that I was unable to find these chips on the manufacturers website but they may be able to mail them to you anyways.

365 Every Day Wild Skipjack Tuna - No Salt Added
We have been buying this tuna and what can I say, it's tuna but with less salt! This tuna has 20mg sodium per serving. Be careful not to get the Albacore version of this as it has over 2x the sodium. We paid $1.49/can at Whole Foods.

Cedars's Cucumber & Garlic Tzatziki - Greek Strained Yogurt Dip
This delicious dip can be found at Whole Foods among other places. The taste to me is a cucumbery, lemony, dill flavor. I got it for $3.50. Although it's not zero sodium (55mgs) it has pretty good numbers for being a creamy dip. The ingredients look simple enough that you could even make your own version of this and omit the salt...

Casa Sanchez Medium Salsa Organica
The first item I would like to feature is Casa Sanchez Medium Salsa Organica, found at Whole Foods. I guarantee you will not miss the salt! On a side note it did cost $6.99 but I think it is worth it if you don't want to make your own. I also found that you can order salsa from the manufacturers website although the site doesn't list this exact product. There is a phone number so they may be able to ship the no-sodium salsa as well. http://www.casasanchezfood.com/salsas.php
First Post
I decided to start this blog after my mom had to cut down her sodium intake because of kidney issues. As we usually do our grocery shopping together I have come to love most low-sodium products and actually prefer many of them to the salt-soaked alternatives. This is a space I can share those products with you.
